Spent catalyst recycling: information industrial generators should prepare
A well-prepared material profile helps potential recovery markets evaluate acceptance, compliance, logistics and commercial value more efficiently. Review our spent catalyst recycling and recovery capabilities for qualifying materials.
1. Identify the catalyst and its application
Provide the catalyst name, manufacturer, product code and process application where available. Indicate whether it is fresh, spent, regenerated, off-specification or a production residue.
2. Supply representative technical data
Include the latest assay, SDS, metal content, moisture or loss on ignition, support material and known contaminants. State how and when the sample was taken.
3. Describe the physical condition
Pellets, extrudates, fines, powder, wet material and damaged catalyst may require different handling and processing. Include clear photographs.
4. Confirm quantity, packaging and location
Provide net weight, number and type of packages, current site, country of origin and expected availability date. Note whether additional material is generated regularly.
5. Clarify classification and documentation
Material and transport classification can vary by chemistry, use and jurisdiction. Share existing waste codes, permits, manifests or prior shipping documentation where relevant. Classification should be confirmed by qualified professionals.
6. Define the commercial objective
State whether you are seeking a purchase offer, refining arrangement, recovery service, long-term program or market assessment.
Do not ship samples or material until the receiving party has provided written acceptance and shipping instructions.
